For Kentucky basketball commitment Ryan Hampton, Saturday morning was about giving back to the community he'll soon join. Hampton, in association with ProCamps, hosted a free camp for children ages 6–15 at the Lexington Ice Center & Sports Complex on Oct. 10. Nearly 70 kids were on hand for the event.

"This is the first camp of mine, just giving back to the community," Hampton told Inside Kentucky Basketball. "Being committed to Kentucky, being here is special to me.”

Hampton was joined by his parents and older brother R.J., a first-round NBA draft pick in 2020. They flew into Lexington on Friday evening and left town a few hours after the camp ended. It was the second straight weekend the Hamptons were in Lexington after visiting for Big Blue Madness in Rupp Arena on Oct. 2.
